Wendsday Night's Game

The Yankees got killed wensday night 15-4. Wang did not pitch his best and the releive pitching did ot help either. Although, Robinson Cano had two homers and Hideki Matsui had one. A few Yankee starters weren't playing too. Alex Rodriguez had a day off to day, Bobby Abrue got ejected early in the game for arguing with the ump, and Jorge Posada subbed out in the middle of the game. Yankees beat the Blue Jays this series and are continuing there road trip by going to Cleveland for a three game series.

Tori Hunter for 08 and 09?

Tori Hunter's contract is up after the 2007 season. The Yankees are interested in having the great center fielder join them for the 08 and 09 seasons. Will he fit in though? If Tori Hunter starts at CF for the Yankees where will Melky play? Johny Damon will play DH, Hideki in left, and Abrue in right. So is there realy room for him especially because Melky has played so good this year it wouldn't be right to take his starting spot away from him in 08. There is a good solution though, The Yankees should get rid of Giambi because he has been hurt for most of the season and might be taking steriods. Johny Damon should play first base, Hideki can DH, Melky can play left, Tori Hunter can play center, and Bobby Abrue can play right. This would be a good move by the Yankees but anything could happen.

Arod's 500 and 800

Arod became the youngest player in baseball to ever hit 500 homers the August. Baseball experts say if Arod can stay healty he migh be able to hit 800 home runs passing Bond by 44 homers! Also Arod didn't cheat.

August 7th's game against the Toronto Blue Jays

The Yankees played a great game last night deafeating the Toronto Blue Jays 9-2. Although both teams got into a fight starting with Alex Rodriguez and Blue Jays starting pitcher Josh Towers the Yankees played great. Roger Clemens had a two hitter goining to the 7th when he hit a batter and got ejected from the game because of the previous fight. The Yankees bats were on fire as well. 8 of 9 starters got at least one hit including Melky Cabrera and Jorge Posada geting 3 hits each and Bobby Abrue getting a great RBi triple.

A Streak or a Player?

Shelly Duncan (Chris Duncan's little brother) got brought up from the minor leagues by the New York Yankees in July. In his first game as a rookie he managed to hit two homeruns. Now Shelly Duncan has five homers and is batting 300. over around a monthe spand. Will he continue to do good or will he become just an ordinary player?
